Like your teachers once said, the only dumb question is one not asked but to save our sanity we have compiled a list of the questions we get asked the most.
The best answer to this is we really don't know. Each tattoo is priced based on size, location, amount of detail and the time it will take to do it. The best bet is to come in and have someone take a look at it. We know that didn't answer the question completely so here are some other shop guidelines to help you out.
SHOP MINIMUM
$100 - this means no tattoo will be put on your body for less than $100.
Most tattoos will be charged on an hourly basis and time will be determined by the artist doing your tattoo.
HOURLY RATES
$150/hour
DEPOSITS
A $100 non refundable deposit will be collected for all scheduled appointments
You will be given either a saniderm bandage or a traditional banadge. SANIDERM BANDAGE
This is a clear bandage you will leave on the entire time your tattoo is healing. This usually takes 5-7 days. You can remove the bandage after 5 days. Some of the adhesive will remain on your skin. this can be washed away with soap and water. Although unlikely, if scabbing does occur, DO NOT pick or scratch at the area, this will affect the way your tattoo heals. If you feel you are having an allergic reaction to the bandage remove immediately and follow the instructions for a traditional bandage.
TRADITIONAL BANDAGE
You were either given this type of bandage because you have sensitive skin or you just like the old school way of doing things. Leave your bandage on anywhere from 4 -24 hours. Make sure you remove it within those 24 hours. Do not reapply another bandage once the original one has been removed.2-3 times a day for one week
It is normal for some flaking and scabbing to occur, this is part of the healing process. If it does occur DO NOT pick or scratch. This will affect the way your tattoo heals.
IF THERE IS ANY SIGN OF INFECTION SEEK A MEDICAL DOCTOR
